This is a lovely flat in a superb location centrally located in the shadow of Harrods and convenient to great shopping along Knightsbridge, King’s Road and, Oxford Street, and High Street Kensington. The Natural History, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum are within easy walking distance, and Hyde Park is about a 10-minute walk.

The nearest underground stations are: South Kensington, an easy 6 - 8 minute walk, or Knightsbridge, an 8 - 10 minute walk.

Through your own front door and up one flight of stairs onto the landing. The sitting room is very attractive, and comfortably furnished in duck egg blues, with a sofa, two carver chairs, a digital TV with Freeview Channels and built in DVD player, and large sliding doors to a wonderful balcony with a small table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with a cozy breakfast table, electric hob, electric oven, microwave, washer dryer and refrigerator.

The bedroom has a King bed, good closet and storage space, a trouser press and French doors leading out onto the same large balcony. The bathroom is freshly decorated and has shower over bath, heated towel rail, hand basin and a loo.

This light, airy and spacious flat offers the ideal Knightsbridge base for two people. There is no WiFi but an Internet USB stick can be provided.

PRICES & PAYMENT The prices of apartments are quoted in U.S. dollars and include taxes. They are based on a seven night stay , however many properties pro-rate for shorter and longer stays. Prices are subject to currency fluctuation, however when accommodations have been paid in full, there will be no increase. All taxes and additional charges, except telephone usage, are included in the rental prices.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE Apartments are reserved from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10:00AM the day of departure. Keys to the apartment are made available during normal working hours, 8:00 to 5:00. Alternate arrangements can be made for key collection after hours and on weekends.

CONFIRMATION DOCUMENT A confirmation is mailed or faxed upon receipt of the deposit and the credit card details.

Broadband internet is provided by some owners at some properties. However, some computers are not compatible with the service provided, and connections cannot always be made. Neither the owner, nor LGS can be held responsible in these circumstances.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellation: Initial deposit of 50% is non-refundable. If you cancel within 10 weeks of your arrival NO REFUND is given unless we have been able to re-let your apartment. Therefore, We strongly urge you to take cancellation, health, accident insurance WHICH WE OFFER . Neither LGS nor the owner of the property are liable for any accident, loss or damage sustained during your tenancy.

The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the number of persons booked. LGS reserves the right to refuse entry to an entire party if this condition is not observed. Only the named people on the booking form may occupy the property and any change will automatically bring the contract to an end, unless it is with our agreement.

LGS makes arrangements with private homes and rental units. If the occasion arises where a problem has occurred in the property B for example a major leak or heating problem, or anything else which is outside our control, we will do our utmost to find you a suitable alternative, and will upgrade you if possible. If no alternative can be found we will refund you in full. (In more than 16 years of business, on the very odd occasion that this has happened, we have always found a suitable alternative, and have never had to disappoint our clients.)

LGS also makes arrangements with hotels, transportation and other suppliers over whom we have no control. In the absence of neglect on our part, we are not responsible for claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of injury, accident, death, damage, loss or delay of baggage or other property; nor for delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether mental or physical, resulting from the act, or omission, of any of these parties. The passage contract in use by airlines, car companies, train and other independent parties shall constitute sole contract between them and the purchaser, and his or her passengers (including private guides, limousines, etc.)

Deposit Policy

In order to secure your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the full rental, unless it is within 10 weeks of your arrival. If you are booking the apartment for arrival within 10 weeks, then the full amount is due. Properties cannot be held on verbal confirmation only.

Security Deposit: On behalf of the property owners we are obliged to ask for a refundable deposit to be held on credit card against telephone charges and as security in case of damage, breakages, etc. which, unfortunately, we do have to charge for. We will take this deposit on your credit card, and it will be returned to you, less any charges, within 4 weeks after your departure. If house keys are lost, the lock must be changed at a cost of over $200.00 and this cost would have to be passed on to you. If any telephone call charges, damage, or excess cleaning/laundry exceed the amount held as a security deposit, LGS reserves the right to charge any excess to your credit card. By signing the PROPERTY RENTAL FORM you authorize such charge. However, in reality we have almost never had to retain anyone's deposit.

During your stay: You undertake not to make any alterations, additions to, or take away from the premises any of its contents. To quietly enjoy the property and not create such noise or nuisance as to cause complaint from neighbours, especially after 11 pm and before 8 am.
