This house, in adjoining Theed Street, used to be a violin factory! After several re-incarnations it achieved its current form 3 years ago when it was converted into a modern open-plan family home. Waterloo Station is less than 5 minutes away. You're wonderfully placed for the arts: The South Bank Centre, The National Theatre, The Old Vic and The Young Vic are all within 10 minutes walk, as are some top class restaurants. The house is arranged over 3 floors and comfortably sleeps a maximum of 8 in a variety of possible combinations: 3 doubles, a small twin, a double sofa bed, an additional mattress that can be laid wherever needed and child's bed (4ft9 x 2ft6) - the child's bed is not always present so please let us know if you need it. Short stay parking can be arranged for a small additional cost. With a stylish enclosed spiral staircase running through the centre. It has attractive wooden flooring throughout and is simply furnished with contemporary furniture. On the ground floor is a good-sized double bedroom room (4ft6 bed) with en-suite bathroom - double shower, basin and loo. There's lots of floor space so if the sleeping arrangements require it the additional mattress can comfortably be laid here. The small twin bedroom is also on this floor. The second bathroom on this floor (shower, basin and loo) also doubles as a utility room with washing machine and separate dryer. The living area, dining area and kitchen are on the first floor. The living area has 3 comfortable 2 seater sofas (one of which converts into a small double bed) arranged round a low table and a TV (cable channels). The dining area has a glass dining table and 6 attractive modern chairs. The kitchen has all the expected appliances including microwave and dishwasher. The third and fourth bedrooms are on the second floor at the top of the house. These 2 bedrooms have own en-suite bathroom with bath + over-shower, basin and loo. As well as being in a great position for the arts and the sights there is no shortage of convenience stores close by and some excellent restaurants too. For good value and great food try RSJ, who also run cookery workshops. For a big treat there's the OXO Tower where both the formal restaurant and more relaxed brasserie and bar have stunning views across the Thames to Charing Cross and the City of London.

Guide prices are: for pick-ups from Heathrow for 2/3 people with luggage an estate car to central London is £40/£50, for larger parties an MPV at £55/£65 will be needed; for Gatwick the costs are £60/£70 (estate car) and £70/£80 (MPV). We will give you a firm price when you book. Comparative costs are: Gatwick-Victoria (Gatwick Express) £17pp and then £4pp tube fare or £5-£15 taxi (and at busy times you may well have to queue for more than 30 mins for a taxi), Heathrow-Paddington (Heathrow Express) £16.50pp and then £4pp tube fare or £5-£15 taxi (again long queues at busy times), Heathrow-Central London by black cab (taxi) £40-£70 limited to 4 passengers + bags, Heathrow-Central London by tube £4pp but ...... a nightmare with suitcases and rush hour crowding. CANCELLATIONS Refund policy for this apartment : We will make a refund in full, less a $250.00 service fee, only if the property can be rebooked for the dates of your booking. If you need to cancel a reservation contact our office and we will be happy to do this for you. London Guest Suites will work with you on a case by case basis in the event of a cancellation. We strongly suggest you purchase cancellation insurance which can be purchased with in 2 weeks of booking and is at an average cost of $75 per $1000 of insurance.
