The wonderful thing about this property is that it has lots of character - and this is why it's better than staying in a bland hotel! The Italian owners certainly know a thing or two about interior design/art and have created a space which perfectly combines classic and contemporary features - making a stylish apartment with a homely feel. The location is great too; the apartment is in the heart of Chelsea right next to The King's Road, famed for its boutique shopping and restaurants. Your nearest tube station, within a 10 minute walk, is South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines).

The property sleeps four in two double rooms, there's a shared bathroom. Wireless internet is provided.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor (please note there is no lift access) and overlooks the private garden square - to which you have access. This is a quiet spot that feels far away from the hustle and bustle of The King's Road. The flat has a bright colour scheme with yellow walls throughout and colourful handmade rugs which contrast with the clean modern furniture and, together with the modern art, creates a "designer-feel" space.

In the main living area (15ft8, 12ft2, 4.78m x 3.71m) you'll find a bright, cosy space with lots of natural light, a comfortable area to relax, with a two-seater sofa and chair next to a flat-screen TV with digital channels and CD player.

There is a dining table at the far end of the room with classic Philippe Starck 'Ghost' chairs - which can seat up to six.

The apartment overlooks the garden square - a delightful spot during the warmer months..

The kitchen (12ft5 x 5ft11, 3.79m x 1.82m) is a cosy space which is nonetheless stylish with merry yellow cabinets and a wooden floor. A fridge-freezer, oven, cooking utensils, kettle, washing machine and dishwasher ensures that you will have everything you need for your self-catering stay.

The spacious master bedroom (26ft4 x 25ft10, 8.03m x 7.88m) is located at the far end of the hallway and boasts floral/yellow walls, king-size bed (6ft6 x 5ft), fitted wardrobes and a table and chair.

The second double (11ft10 x 7ft6, 3.62m x 2.31m) shares the same sunny yellow walls and also has a fitted wardrobe space for your belongings. This room has a smaller (6ft3 x 4ft6) double bed and two tables with lamps.

The shared bathroom is marbled throughout. Here you'll find a bath with over-shower and basin. A separate loo is located further along the hallway.

The apartment is situated in the heart of Chelsea, not far from King's Road and the River Thames. Fitness fanatics will find a circuit or two of Battersea Park within easy reach.

A short way on from the South Ken tube you'll find the Natural History Museum, V&A and Science Museum - all within easy reach. There are a number of buses available if your legs need a little rest!

Chelsea has an impressive array of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and boutiques, you won't be short of watering holes and temptations for the plastic!

Costs vary depending on the number of people (size of car), the airport you are flying into, your destination in London and the car company used. Guide prices are: for pick-ups from Heathrow for 2/3 people with luggage an estate car to central London is £40/£50, for larger parties an MPV at £55/£65 will be needed; for Gatwick the costs are £60/£70 (estate car) and £70/£80 (MPV). We will give you a firm price when you book. Comparative costs are: Gatwick-Victoria (Gatwick Express) £17pp and then £4pp tube fare or £5-£15 taxi (and at busy times you may well have to queue for more than 30 mins for a taxi), Heathrow-Paddington (Heathrow Express) £16.50pp and then £4pp tube fare or £5-£15 taxi (again long queues at busy times), Heathrow-Central London by black cab (taxi) £40-£70 limited to 4 passengers + bags, Heathrow-Central London by tube £4pp but ...... a nightmare with suitcases and rush hour crowding. Cancellation/Refund Policy

CANCELLATIONS Refund policy for this apartment : We will make a refund in full, less a $250.00 service fee, only if the property can be rebooked for the dates of your booking. If you need to cancel a reservation contact our office and we will be happy to do this for you. London Guest Suites will work with you on a case by case basis in the event of a cancellation. We strongly suggest you purchase cancellation insurance which can be purchased with in 2 weeks of booking and is at an average cost of $75 per $1000 of insurance.

Deposit Policy

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT In order to confirm a reservation we require a 50%deposit on this apartment , which is part of the total rent, which can be paid by credit card or check. The balance due 10 weeks before arrival. If arriving within 10 weeks, payment is due in full at time of booking by credit card, check or money order. Payments by credit card will automatically be debited 10 weeks prior.
