Waterloo tube/.train station is a 10 minute walk or short bus ride (many buses on Waterloo road) Only 15/20 minutes walk accross Westminster Bridge to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey ( or a 5 minute bus ride over the Bridge). Small supermarket, shops, banks and pubs/restaurants and a good street market within 5/10 minute walk. Also in walking distance are the London Eye (Millenium Wheel), the National Theatre and Film Theatre , concert halls, the London Aquarium, many art galleries including the New Tate and many riverside pubs and restaurants. The flat is in a small modern - style building with pleasant gardens at the rear with shrubs and permanent residents' car parking areas.
