Lambeth North tube is 5 minutes away while the new Jubilee Line (Southwark) is only 3 minutes walk. Waterloo tube/.train station is a 10 minute walk or short bus ride (many buses on Waterloo road) Only 15/20 minutes walk accross Westminster Bridge to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey ( or a 5 minute bus ride over the Bridge). Also in walking distance are the London Eye (Millenium Wheel), the National Theatre and Film Theatre , concert halls, the London Aquarium, many art galleries including the New Tate and many riverside pubs and restaurants.
