This Seventeen and Eighteen Century building is located 40 yards from the corner with Rue Jacob and Rue de l'Université and 300 yards from the church of St Germain des Prés. The apartment is on the 5th floor attic (more precisely, under the roof) of the building. An elevator takes you to the 4th floor then an 16 steps staircase takes you to the entry door. It's a lovely flat that gives you the impression to be in a country house (when you are in fact in the middle of Paris), thanks to the many apparent wooden beams holding the roof structure. The living room windows open on the roof top of the building and not on the street below, which makes the place very quiet, even if the street is very busy.
