The wonderful thing about this property is that it has lots of character - and this is why it's better than staying in a bland hotel! The Italian owners certainly know a thing or two about interior design/art and have created a space which perfectly combines classic and contemporary features - making a stylish apartment with a homely feel. The location is great too; the apartment is in the heart of Chelsea right next to The King's Road, famed for its boutique shopping and restaurants. Your nearest tube station, within a 10 minute walk, is South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines). The property sleeps four in two double rooms, there's a shared bathroom. Wireless internet is provided. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (please note there is no lift access) and overlooks the private garden square - to which you have access. This is a quiet spot that feels far away from the hustle and bustle of The King's Road. The flat has a bright colour scheme with yellow walls throughout and colourful handmade rugs which contrast with the clean modern furniture and, together with the modern art, creates a "designer-feel" space. In the main living area (15ft8, 12ft2, 4.78m x 3.71m) you'll find a bright, cosy space with lots of natural light, a comfortable area to relax, with a two-seater sofa and chair next to a flat-screen TV with digital channels and CD player. There is a dining table at the far end of the room with classic Philippe Starck 'Ghost' chairs - which can seat up to six. The apartment overlooks the garden square - a delightful spot during the warmer months.. A separate loo is located further along the hallway. The apartment is situated in the heart of Chelsea, not far from King's Road and the River Thames.
