There is a door from the kitchen that leads onto the roof terrace which is decked and has table with 6 chairs. On the first floor is also the 3rd bedroom/sitting room which has two sofas (one converts to a single bed) and flat screen TV. The washer/dryer is on this floor, as well as a bathroom on this floor and it has bath with handshower, wash hand basin and loo. Stairs lead up to the 2nd floor where there are 2 more bedrooms - each offer twin beds with good closet space. There is also a bathroom on this floor and it has power shower stall, wash hand basin and loo. This comfortable home offers spacious accommodation, and is conveniently located for all the many shops, restaurants and amenities of Kensington High Street with both Holland Park and Kensington Gradens close by. This superior apartment is in a great Period building in a fantastic location on the lower ground floor. Very close to South Kensington tube and easy walking distance to Knightsbridge and Harrods. You have a large living room with separate dining room that can seat 6, located adjacent to the kitchen. The living room has French doors that lead to rear patio that is shared with one other apartment. The Living room has Cable TV, 2 couches and internet access throughout. The beautiful master bedroom has queen sized bed, with full en-suite bathroom, having bath with shower , vanity wash hand basin and W.C. All fully tiled and with marble basin. The second bedroom has a UK double bed and there is in addition a fold up bed which can be located either in the drawing room or dining room. There is a separate shower room/W.C and marble wash hand basin. The very well-equipped fully fitted kitchen which has washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, utensils etc. PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional $25 per night for the 5th guest to cover cost of getting a foldaway bed to the apartment and extra bed linen and towels. Great location of this Kensington home is a stone's throw from Hyde Park. The home itself has traditional and classic interiors, with a lovely collection of paintings and the two bedrooms are on a slightly lower ground, the rear garden lets in a welcome amount of natural light. Flat includes TV, bathtub, luxury toiletries, dishwasher, microwave, dryer, iron, washing machine, central heating, Wi-fi, fireplace, garden courtyard. FYI the home is slightly lower than ground level, and the kitchen is functional but not extensive. Closest tube stop is High Street Kensington

Located in a beautiful period building located in the fashionable area of South Kensington, overlooking the splendid award winning Collingham gardens, this stunning penthouse offers excellent and comfortable accommodation with the added benefit of a roof terrace overlooking the gardens. The trendy and chic shops of Chelsea and Fulham are also within walking distance. This generously sized apartment has a separate reception room, dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen. The bathroom is spacious and has shaver points, bath and shower, and some apartments have a balcony or roof terrace. The bedroom comes with a king size bed, plus a sofa bed in the living area that can comfortably accommodate one adult or two children. There is a charge of $40 per night for use of the sofa bed. We have several apts in the building and this is one of them, all look very similar in style and décor.
